The at-a-glance gallery thumbnail view suggests bland nature photography until you happen to take a closer look —even so occulted (or perhaps especially so) it’s art, and I love it.

Sometimes I get the urge to get that tumblr reblog ancestry exactly right —who begat whom begat whom begat whom —to find original sources often lost in the endless reblogging. Megan Cump, in this case, appears to be the photographer -which fact was lost some two steps into the reblogfest- though I can’t find the exact picture in her site, so who knows. It has the look of her other photographs, though.
